Earlier today, I met up with my group from my Advanced Strategic Management class. We were discussing our project for over three hours but we were able to lay down some great ground work for our final report and presentation. Overall, I was very productive this weekend. Yesterday, I went into work for a couple of hours so I could do a little bit of catching up, worked on my ethical audit for my Organizations & Society course, and attended a friend's show at Hightopps. Today, I attended the group meeting and continued to work on the ethical audit throughout the day. After the meeting, my boyfriend and I decided to do some shopping. The Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual Sale is currently happening so I bought nine, NINE, bras. Luckily, I plan on returning one of them.
During my group meeting, my peers and I were discussing what I planned on doing after I am done with my courses. It is so awkward that I will be done with school in 17 days (wow, only 17 days left!) but I do not graduate until May. I told them that I plan on taking advantage of free time. I am currently employed so I do have a source of (a little bit of) income.
My plans are:
- Blog as often as possible. I have even looked a templates on Etsy. I am that committed!
- Actively look for employment any where and every where. I currently enjoy my job but I need to keep my options open. It is in my best favor to manage my skills and not depend on loyalty to a company.
- Study for the GMATs and LSATs
- Read non-academic materials again. I have looked forward to this for so long.
- Travel. Speaking of, I still haven't put together a packing list for a 10 day winter cruise to the east Caribbean. I should do that soon before I forget.
Anyways, I got to blog a bit so this post should hold me over until I get more academia stuff done. It is funny how this is motivating me to finish my assignments faster!
