What now?

Graduation has come and gone.  Now, what do I do with myself?!  I have done a lot shopping.  My dad, step mom, Grandma, and aunt were very gracious with my graduation gifts!  I am grateful for what they have gifted me.  It started with two Coach purses, on sale of course, but one of them is for my grandma.  My boyfriend, who is oblivious to accessories, made a comment how my grandma needs a new purse.  So, I bought my cute 80 year old grandma a new purse :)  For myself, I've bought a rose gold necklace and ring, two bra holders, and two makeup organizers from Hautelook.  I have also purchased a lacrosse stick for my one of my little brothers and a graduation gift for my little sister who is graduating from North Point High School next Tuesday.  I can not disclosed what her gift is because she reads my blog - I hope!

I am trying my best to send good vibes to my boyfriend.  He is sitting for the last section of the CPA exam today at 12:30!  He is a lot of bit stressed out.  I am supporting him in spirit because he doesn't want me anywhere near him since I am a "distraction."  I am not even mad because I told him that if he fails this section of the exam, I am leaving him on fourth of July.  Why?  FREEDOM!

Honestly, I think he will do exceedingly well.  I would never tell him this but he is an intelligent, handsome, funny, and caring man.  He is loyal to his friends which has caused many arguments in our relationship.  He has his faults but I have accepted them and I am not sure if he has accepted mine.  The many issues of dating a younger man...

Tonight, I am looking forward to having dinner with friends, two of whom are recently engaged!  We are heading to a mutual friend's house afterwards for a party.

My baby cat had her annual check up last Tuesday.  She wasn't very happy about it but she's over it.

Graduation!

Two weekends ago, I was in southern Maryland to celebrate my younger twin brothers', James and Justin, birthday and mother's day.  The weekend was nice because a friend of mine hosted a bond fire so we had a nice little reunion.

Last weekend, I was in Richmond to celebrate the 80th birthday of my step mom's mother.  It was fun because I got to bond with my younger brother and his girlfriend.

Last Wednesday, was a big, big day: Graduation from Johns Hopkins University.  I was stressed out due to the logistic of the event but it all fell into place.  I was tired and didn't function very well at work the next day but it was worth to have my maternal grandmother at my graduation because she, too, is 80 years old!  After my graduation ceremony, my father, step mom, grandmother, boyfriend and I met up with my younger siblings and step mom's mom at Iron Age: Asian Grill for dinner.  It was delicious!

I don't have plans for Memorial Day weekend which is a little odd for me.  My boyfriend and I have made it a tradition to spend Memorial Day weekend in Ocean City but couldn't this year because he is taking the last section of the CPA exam next Friday and in two weeks we are going to Deep Creek with a group of friend to celebrate one our good friend's birthday!

Consistently Inconsistent

True to my nature, I am consistently inconsistent.  I think I am unconsciously an "addict for dramatic."  The day of my last post, I attempted to hike Oregon Ridge Park with my extremely fit co-workers and failed miserably.  I was under weather and menstruating.  Sounds like excuses but I reached the top of the hill and realized that there was no way that I could cover five miles in an hour and twenty minutes.  At least I tried.  The Saturday after my miserable hiking fail, my boyfriend and I hiked Oregon Ridge successfully!  Granted, it was at a leisurely pace but I did it.  The best part of the hike was spending one and one time with my boyfriend.  The day after my hike, Sunday, I got to spend time with some old friends: Carolyne, Mikyla, Marisa and Carolyne's daughter, Emilia.  She is the most adorable thing in the world!  Here she is in the Spring dress that I bought for her :)

Last week, it was not particularly exciting.  It rained a lot and I contracted a virus from my co-worker.  My excuse of being under the weather doesn't sound so pathetic now.  I was out of commission up until last Wednesday when I felt okay enough to go to work.  My sinuses are still swollen but I don't feel like death anymore.  I am upset that I missed the Towson Town Spring Festival last weekend.  I have yet to go.  My boyfriend and I did hang out with our friend and his girlfriend last Saturday so that was nice.

Yesterday, I went hiking with my boyfriend, friend, and a really cute puppy at Oregon Ridge!

This weekend is my younger twin brothers' birthday (today!) and Mothers' Day.  My boyfriend and I are going to southern Maryland to celebrate and to hang out with some friends.  There is talk about kayaking but I am playing that by ear because I will be the only female partaking.
