Makeup Addiction

My boyfriend introduced me to Reddit.  I have been a redditor since November 2013.  It wasn't until recently that I got hooked on the site.  I am subscribe to a bunch of subreddits but my favorite so far is Make Up Addiction and Relationships.

Work has been very stressful the past couple of weeks so...

...I have a major haul and Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty Steals isn't helping.

Now, I want a bad ass battle station or command center.  I mean a vanity, whatever.  I need to have a designated location to apply my war paint.

Family

To make a long dramatic history short, I have a toxic relationship with my maternal side of the family with the exception of my siblings (I hope).  I have recently lost a dog but no one in that house will give me a full explanation as to what had happen.  All I have heard are excuses.  It pains me that no one said anything to me about Woody being sick because I would of done something to help him.

When I finally visit home two weekends ago, I was heartbroken when I saw my cat, Snarggles.  I can assume what had happened with Woody by how my mother is treating my cat.  I have been really worried about Snarggles and I wish that I can bring him to my place.  Currently, Priscilla lives with us but there isn't enough room to bring another cat.

August can not come soon enough.

Recently, pet owners were sharing this link on Facebook and it makes me think of Woody.

I know he is in a better place but it makes me sad to assume that he had suffered towards the later part of his life.  

Restart

Work is such an interesting concept.  It may be viewed as a relationship that trumps all other relationships.  It may be the livelihood of one self.  If you are lucky, it may be something that gives your life purpose.  

In every relationship, the honeymoon phase comes to an end and all of the cute habits are actually really annoying.  As an adult, you can't just break-up with your job.  Well, you can but you will only hurt your future.  I recently read this article.  I didn't do all six things but I did do numbers four and five.  Thankfully, it helped me deal with my last semester at school and two important deadlines at work.
