On Valentine's Day, my boyfriend personally delivered flowers and chocolates to my office and he took me out to lunch. Isn't he adorable?!
After work, we had a light dinner since we decided to do Valentine's Day dinner on Saturday. My boyfriend is in the public accounting and it is currently tax season for him. After dinner, we went and bought presents for one another. Originally, I bought him a bar tool set but he didn't like it (insert overly dramatic annoying sigh here). Instinctively, I wanted to get him a decanter but we don't have the room for it. The jerk asked me to exchanged the tool set for a decanter set. Which, by the way, is still on the back seat of my car. However, he took me to the mall and help me start my first Pandora charm bracelet :)
I love my bracelet and I am unsure as to why I waited so long to start one.
Saturday evening was fun. I had a great time on our date. We had french food for dinner and tucked in early. I love cozy evenings with my boyfriend. This morning he was running late and so, he caused me to run late. I could feel myself get upset but instead of harboring anger, I laid in bed and thought about my life before we started dating. It sucked - relationship wise. I never have to question our relationship with him. He is very supportive of me and expresses it freely. We have had our ups and downs but we always have each others back. I never feel suffocated with him and every year that we have been together, I still feel like I am growing into myself.
Some days, I love him more than others but I always love him.

Trendsetter
I have been obsessed with Rowing ever since the first season of House of Cards. Frank Underwood, I mean Mr. Vice President, is so bad ass. I guess I am not the only one jumping on the bandwagon. I recently read in Cosmo that Rowing is the new spinning. I have never taken a spinning class but I do like the stationary bike at the gym.
On another note, I have noticed that my current hair style is becoming very popular. The picture is from my boyfriend's firm holiday party. The day after I got my haircut. I have had this specific hairstyle from 2008 to 2010 but decided on a change. Biggest mistake ever. I love this style and if I ever decide that I need a change, I will just add tint or highlights to my hair instead.

| Woody 2000 - 2014 |
It is hard loosing a beloved pet. Woody is not the first pet that I have lost but he is the one that I am the most heartbroken over.
I didn't get to properly say goodbye to him.
My very first dog, Murphy, lived into old age and he was surround by so many people and puppies who loved him. The second pet that I lost was my cat, Elvis. He was Priscilla's brother. He died two months after turning two. I still get teary eyed thinking about him.
I was so busy with school and work that I haven't had time to visit home. The last time I saw my pup was last October. I am glad that my last memory of him is good but I am sad that I didn't get to see him one last time. He wasn't the greatest dog but he was my dog. I know he is in a better place but I can't help but miss him. R.I.P. my Woodrow.

My Favorite Programs
I haven't enjoyed watching t.v. since the 90's. I loved Nickolodeon, the Disney Channel, and WB. I miss the original SNICK line-up. Every Saturday, as a kid, I would get so excited when it was 8 pm! Once I got a little bit older, I started watching Dawson's Creek and Friends. As an adult, I am not ashamed to admit that I watch the Disney Channel every once in awhile. Good Luck Charlie is a pretty good show :) When I am not catching reruns of Full House or Friends, I am watching the following:
American Horror Story

Game of Thrones
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo
House of Cards
Keeping Up with The Kardashians

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
Orange is the New Black
Teen Mom
It is obvious which shows on my list are guilty pleasures. Have I mentioned how excited I am for the new season of House of Cards?! I have the biggest boner for Frank Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey. Spacey is such an incredible actor and I think this is one of his best roles. Claire Underwood, played by Robin Wright, is who I wish to be - intelligent, poise, and strong. Can you tell that I (not so) secretly wish that my boyfriend and I were them? The second season of House of Cards is out on Netflix February 14th. It can not come soon enough.

A Saturday Special at Hamilton Tavern
|
Food is my biggest expense. My boyfriend previously complained about how we spend too much money on food. We tried buying groceries and making meals at home but that was also a waste. It is difficult to find recipes for a serving size of two and buying such small quantities of ingredients is impossible! Granted, it doesn't help that we live in a town house with two other people so space in the fridge (and anywhere else in the house) is nonexistent.
We tried Blue Apron under the suggestion of one my co-workers. I am not a fan. The biggest issue I had with the service: missing ingredients. The food was mediocre for the amount time needed to make each meal.
Last year, while making brunch reservations for my boyfriend's birthday, I learned about Open Table. The cool thing about this program is members accumulate points for dining out and the points can be cashed in for a dining cheque that can be used at any participating restaurant. Check out their list of Top 25 Most Romantic Cities. Baltimore made the list :)
